JOIN A SMALL GROUP
Faith FamiliesWHAT’S A FAITH FAMILY?
Faith Families are small groups that meet for a season (usually a year) to share life together! Each group has a leader or married couple serving as leaders, who coordinate with members when and where the group is meeting.
Our faith families share in three distinctive practices:
01. BREAKING BREAD
Whether it is evening dessert and coffee, pizza, or a potluck, we believe in the goodness of sharing life over a meal like Jesus modeled with his disciples.
02. SHARING A DEVOTION
Each week an assigned person will lead the group in a spiritually minded reflection. These reflections may consider the sermon or scripture from the previous week, the liturgical season, or current events. This practice is significant to keep our groups grounded in spiritual conversations.
03. GROUP PRAYER
Each group also shares joys and concerns as they meet. This practice helps build a community of empathy, understanding, and mutual support for life’s difficult times.
